Festive Cheer

Christmas is certainly coming and it’s been a very busy few days for the Choir! Last Wednesday afternoon, a group of us went to entertain residents at Avon Lodge, Southbourne and then on Friday night, another group performed at the Freemasons’ Hall in Boscombe. Today, we had a great time at Sunrise in Westbourne, where we were made to feel very welcome and were able to be present at the grand Christmas light switch-on! We can now come clean about our mysterious gig on 5th November! Our friends at Bournemouth’s Norfolk Royale Hotel arranged for a group of us to hideout in one of their hotel rooms, whilst 4 choristers went undercover as ‘waiters’ serving guests at the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce (BCTC) Banter evening. Right on cue, the waiters revealed their true voices in full song whilst the captives upstairs made their way down through the crowds to join them!
