Choristers-A-Caroling

Another busy December weekend for BMVC … We were delighted to be asked back to Westbourne on Saturday for an open air performance to mark the switch-on of their Christmas lights. We were soon surrounded by a very enthusiastic crowd whilst the weather remained kind and the shopping trolleys weaved their way around us! The Choir had never performed at the venue before, which given its spectacular interior and acoustic is a travesty! Our guest soloist, Gaynor Morgan, gave us two magical performances which will remain with us for much time to come and we send our heartfelt thanks to her for supporting this...

Solving your Festive Dilemmas

Now, we know that many of you will be looking forward to Christmas with barely concealed joy and excitement but that festive frisson is tempered somewhat, isn’t it? How to find that special treat for my partner? What to buy the in-laws? How to ingratiate myself with close friends, acquaintances and neighbours? Ordering online? Convenient, certainly – but the stress of waiting for the deliveries to arrive? Waiting in, not venturing out to the bookies, just on the off-chance the parcel van stops at your house? And don’t even get us started on gift wrapping …...
