New Romantics?

Happy New YearThings Contemporary and Romantic were the focus of our attention this week as rehearsals have resumed.  We have hit the ground running; new music by contemporary American composers Jeffrey Horvath and Timothy Takach together with Franz’s Schubert’s delicious “La Pastorella” were the focus of our attention this week.

Still in the “new world” we brushed up Eric Whitacre‘s lovely “Seal Lullaby” and then looked in some detail at the lucious “Beati Mortui” by Felix Mendelssohn.  Very satisfying and some really good work.

If you feel you could be part of the choir why not contact us.  You need to be able to

  • Attend rehearsals in Bournemouth on a Tuesday evening
  • Sing in a harmony  part in tune.
  • Commit to our programme of improving vocal technique and learning how to score read at sight.

The guys are great fun, work hard and are very keen to welcome new members to our 50 ish singers.

For more info why not write to – we would love to hear from you.
