Calling all Facebook Friends!

The Choir passed a landmark moment this week – with the 350th person ‘liking’ our Facebook page! We love hearing from people who are interested in our music and want to get a glimpse ‘behind the curtain’ of life at BMVC. So, if you want to find out more about us (and see the odd dodgy pic of what the boys get up to at their socials…) then please ‘like’ us on Facebook and connect with us; we’d love to hear from you and see the pictures and videos you’ve taken at our...

Festive Cheer

Christmas is certainly coming and it’s been a very busy few days for the Choir! Last Wednesday afternoon, a group of us went to entertain residents at Avon Lodge, Southbourne and then on Friday night, another group performed at the Freemasons’ Hall in Boscombe. Today, we had a great time at Sunrise in Westbourne, where we were made to feel very welcome and were able to be present at the grand Christmas light switch-on! One of our first tenors, Harold Roper, enthralled the crowd with his rendition of ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkley...

We’ll be hot footing it down Poole Road from our previous engagement that afternoon at Sunrise Living to appear at 3.15pm, so give us a honk as we make our way in crocodile formation down the...

Mob Rule

We can now come clean about our mysterious gig on 5th November! Our friends at Bournemouth’s Norfolk Royale Hotel arranged for a group of us to hideout in one of their hotel rooms, whilst 4 choristers went undercover as ‘waiters’ serving guests at the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce (BCTC) Banter evening. Right on cue, the waiters revealed their true voices in full song whilst the captives upstairs made their way down through the crowds to join them! It was another great opportunity to perform to a local audience and demonstrate the choir’s versatility;...
